Planet Ice is working in partnership with CLIC Sargent, the UK's
leading cancer charity for children and young people.

John Neville, Managing Director commented,"Unit General Managers & their sta were asked to nominate a charity which the company would support for the next 12 months with CLIC Sargent being by far the most popular name given! As a company we are delighted to be working with such a reputable charity and looking forward to not only increasing CLIC Sargent's prole but raising funds." You will find around each of our rinks collection boxes, pin badges and details of fundraising events.

All we ask is that you please give as much as you can towards this very worthy cause to help children in your local area through their cancer journey.
Last year, CLIC Sargent's health
and social care professionals gave indepth
support to more than 5,500 children and young people with cancer and provided accommodation for an average of 100 families per month at its 'Homes from Home'- houses which allow families like the Bowens to stay near to the hospital where their child is receiving treatment.
Joseph Bowen is 10 months old and is undergoing treatment for infant acute lymphoblastic leukaemia. He has an older brother, Isaac and lives with Mum, Celine and Dad, Steve in Gosport, Hampshire.
Joseph was only six months old
when he was diagnosed. "Joseph's treatment started immediately at the Piam Brown unit in Southampton General Hospital," said Joseph's father, Steve. I'll never forget how we first felt walking on to the unit."
"Once treatment had started it was a 40 mile round trip from home to the hospital so it was fantastic to be able to stay at CLIC Haven during this time. The home is directly behind the hospital and it was so helpful to be able to stay there. I expected it to be like a shell of a house but it was kitted out completely like a home and was a really comfortable place to stay."

Each of our Planet Ice rinks is situated near a children's cancer care unit and we aim to provide as much support as possible to CLIC Sargent and more importantly to help children and families that are dealing with cancer.
So we'd like to say that on behalf of everyone
here at Planet Ice and CLIC Sargent-
